    Please do not come to the surgery for your sick note all you have to do is send an email to wolccg.coalwayroadsurgery@nhs.net. We will pick this up and process your request and send it back to you. If you cannot print your sick note let us know on your email and we will send you an attachment in your email and send the orginal by post.

    Electronic prescriptions

    Due to the current situation we are all in, we are asking you to register with your local chemist for EPS. This will stop you coming to the surgery to order your medication, as the chemist will be able to do this for you. If you do not have this set up and need to order medication please email us on: wolccg.coalwayroadsurgery@nhs.net. Please stay safe during this Covid-19 pandemic.

    PATIENT/PUBLIC ENGANGEMENT DAY

    RWT and Coalway Road are putting together an open day for patients to come and get information around PPGs, social prescribing, Type2 Diabetic and the NHS 5 year plan that affects primary care and you as patients. If you have time on Saturday 29/2/20 between 10am-2pm please pop into coalway road surgery and ask questions around the future of primary care and what practices will be bringing into surgerys to help with quicker access for patients.     Coronavirus update NHS England have today updated there advice of the corona virus: What is the advice to patients and the public? The advice to the public is to call NHS 111 now if they have been: • to Wuhan or Hubei Province in China in the last 14 days (even if they do not have symptoms) • to other parts of China, including Macau and Hong Kong, in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if it's mild) • to Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Republic of Korea or Malaysia in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if it's mild) • in close contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus. Anyone who meets the above criteria is advised not to go to a GP surgery, community pharmacy or hospital. Instead they should call NHS 111, stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people.
